I have never been to Calgary, but I woul run that direction in an instant if Paramore was playing there. The website has got me thinking about a visit now. When I travel I love to frequent new bars, clubs, and venues as my idea of fun.
I am not musically talented at all unfortunately, but sure enough Paramore is perfect as a group and they have tons of talent. Good instruments and a gorgeous female vocal that makes me blush. What really matters in a band to me is team work, good vibes, talent and amazing lyrics! Come on Calgary, bring it home.
Paramore may be on the radio radar and not necessarily need any assistance in the fame department, but I can't help but to dive into an opportunity to explain to the world how freaking great they are. Hayley William's lyrics touch my heart and I love her band, and that they are fronted buy a hot, fiesty little chick with a bomb voice.
Her hair is what first captivated me when I saw the video for "Misery Business" on MTV. I couldn't pull my eyes away, I was in hair heaven. Whoever does her hair should be given an award, it looks like gold. Then again, she is a star...
Barry's Response - I guess they call this Emo/Alternative/Punk pop-rock. Apparently they started off in Tennessee. Some have compared their sound to Avril Lavigne. Some have guessed that this is a Christian band as well.
Whatever. The music is worth listening to.
